Montrose is a great place to stay and play! If you have time over the 4th of July holiday, here are a few of our favorite places to check out! We have included some of our favorite places to eat and things to do in Montrose as well as a couple of our  favorite day trips in the area.

Located 30 minutes outside of Montrose, the Black Canyon is a good day adventure for all age groups with both drivable and hike-able options to explore!

Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park

Ouray is a quaint mountain town 45 minutes from Montrose. Here there are plenty of fun shops to explore, and hiking trails, and you can take advantage of the all-natural hot springs on your visit!
