1. Driving Around the Water: You can leave the Seattle side of Washington and drive through Tacoma via I-5 S, WA-16 W and WA-3 N. This is the most reliable option. 2. Bainbridge Island- Seattle Ferry: You can take the ferry from downtown Seattle to Bainbridge Island, and then drive North via WA-305 N and WA-3 N. The BI Ferry is highly unreliable with long wait times and inconsistent timing, but it has a lovely view. 3. Edmonds-Kingston Ferry: You can take the Edmonds Ferry to Kingston, and then drive to the State Park via WA-104 W/NE State Hwy 104. As with the BI Ferry, wait times and sail times are highly unreliable. 4. Fast ferries or additional sailings, such as the Southworth-Fauntleroy Ferry: There are many additional sailing options, including smaller fast ferries from the Seattle area. Check wait times. The World Cup will be happening in Seattle around our wedding, so please plan accordingly for traffic!
The Hood Canal Bridge opens to allow vessels to pass through the canal. Check the status online to ensure you arrive on time.
