Our story began in Park City, Utah, where Ramsey was living and working after graduating from the University of Utah. At the same time, I was there on a ski trip with my life-long best friend, Lauren. Through mutual friends, our paths crossed-and from the very first conversation, we immediately hit it off. What started as a chance meeting, quickly became something neither of us could ignore. Within just one month of meeting, Ramsey made the bold decision to move back to his home state of Texas to be with his family and me. We dated for only eight months before deciding we wanted to spend the rest of our lives with each other. It was truly a "when you know, you know" kind of love. Looking back, I can see God's hand so clearly guiding our paths and aligning our hearts at exactly the right time, when we both needed each other the most. Our relationship is a constant reminder to always trust God's plan. As Proverbs 3: 5-6 says, "Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." God faithfully directed our paths to each other, and I am forever grateful for His perfect timing.
