Pittsburgh Regional Transit
From the airport: The 28X Route travels from PIT to Downtown. Buses depart from PIT approximately every 30 minutes outside of door 2 on the first floor of the pre-security terminal. Riders using cash to pay their transit fares must have exact change; credit cards are not accepted on vehicles. Credit cards are accepted at the ticket vending machine in Baggage Claim inside Door #2. The ticket vending machine allows riders to buy daily, 7-day or 30-day tickets, or add stored value onto a ConnectCard or ConnecTix. You can also purchase mobile tickets by using the Transit app. More information can be found here: https://flypittsburgh.com/pittsburgh-international-airport/ground-transport/public-transportation/ Getting around the city: Pittsburgh offers public transportation throughout the city via buses and the "T", light rail system. This transportation is great for getting you to and from different parts of the city, we recommend taking the "T" from downtown Pittsburgh to the North Side as these rides are free. This is where the cocktail hour/reception will be taking place, along with where we are recommending guests to stay. It is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh and only a short drive to the ceremony. When you book, please use the link provided to receive our rate! The hotel is located on the top floors of the historic Henry W. Oliver Building, each room has great views of the "City of Bridges". Check in begins at 4pm, check out is at 11am. Guests are recommended to park in the Oliver Garage. Valet Parking is available for $45/night. Breakfast is included, along with an evening reception accompanied by appetizers (a great bite to eat option for anyone traveling in on Friday evening)! The hotel bar and lobby are located on the top floor.
