We met at a friend's birthday dinner in high school. He won me over with his jokes. We exchanged numbers and talked for a while before going to prom together at the end of senior year. After graduation, we went our separate ways. Seven years later, we found each other on facebook! He shot his shot under one of my post, and we've been together ever since.

The proposal was very intimate. It was just us at home. I was up early, looking at pictures of my mother on her birthday. He woke up and said "close your eyes".
