Olivia and Maxwell met when Maxwell was home in Georgia between deployments. He had just returned from Hawaii and was preparing for another move to Virginia. Olivia had lived in Georgia her entire life, though some of her family had recently relocated to Virginia just a few months earlier. Neither of us knew it yet, but God was already aligning our paths long before we met. Maxwell had only been in town a few days before our first date, but after that day, we spent every chance we could together. When the time came for Maxwell to leave, it definitely felt far too soon, but we knew that we were beginning to build something special. What was supposed to be a brief visit home turned into something neither of us expected. After many months of late-night calls and driving 8 hours to see each other on the weekends, Olivia made the move to Virginia as well, and the rest fell into place. Two years later, we’re so grateful for the life we’ve begun to build together and so excited for everything the future holds.
