Both the ceremony and reception will be held at the Brule River Barn in Brule, Wisconsin—a spot we fell in love with and can’t wait to share with you! You can find all the details (like the address and directions) on the Home page of our website. One location, all the love, zero confusion.
We love your little ones—we really do! But for this special day, we’re asking that our wedding be an adults-only celebration (with the exception of a few close family kiddos). We hope you’re able to take the night off, let loose, and enjoy a fun evening with us!
Our ceremony is a very intimate moment for us and will be limited to close family and invited guests. We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone at the reception afterward!
We truly wish we could celebrate with everyone, but due to space and budget, we’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on the invitation. If your invitation includes a plus one, they’re absolutely invited! Otherwise, we hope you know how much we’re looking forward to spending time with you on our special day.
We’re going for elegant and timeless—so please no casual attire! Bridesmaids will be rocking beautiful floor-length dresses, and the groomsmen will be suited up, so we’re asking our guests to follow suit with cocktail or formal attire. The ceremony will be on a grassy path, so maybe skip the stilettos (unless you’re in for a mini workout!) and go for something a little more ground-friendly. And of course, no white—we’ve got that covered. We can’t wait to see you all dressed to the nines!
We’re requesting an unplugged ceremony—which means no photos or videos during the ceremony itself. We want you to be fully present and enjoy the moment with us! Our amazing photographer will be keeping an eye out and kindly reminding anyone with their phone out to put it away, so we can all enjoy the ceremony without distractions. Don't worry, there will be plenty of opportunities to snap pics at the reception, and we’ll have a pro photographer capturing all the beautiful moments!
There’s a parking lot right on the grounds—just head to the right when you pull into the driveway. You’ll see the lot there. From the parking area, there’s a short walkway that will lead you straight to the barn where all the magic happens. Signs will be posted to help guide you, but if all else fails, just follow the well-dressed people and the sound of celebration!
The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00 PM, so we kindly ask that you arrive by 2:45 PM to give yourself time to park, find your seat, and settle in before the “I do’s” begin. Trust us—you won’t want to miss a moment (or the view)!

The ceremony will be held outside on the grounds, so keep an eye on the weather and dress accordingly (sunglasses encouraged, umbrellas... hopefully not needed). After that, we’ll head inside the barn for cocktail hour and the reception—so you’ll get a little fresh air and a solid dance floor. Best of both worlds!
