Luke and Olivia met playing flag football at Boise State University. Luke transferred to Boise State during Covid. Olivia chose Boise State because that's where her brother went. Olivia thought Luke was cute and chose to make the first move of asking him to play basketball with her. This led to many basketball "dates" where Luke would let Olivia win because it turns out he thought she was cute, too. After a month of basketball, Luke asked Olivia to be his girlfriend. Within the next three years, Luke and Olivia would fall more in love with each other as they both pursued their mutual passions of their careers, the Lord, fitness, and community.
