We're getting married!

After matching on Hinge in 2022, or as Olivia likes to say, "Mutual friends," Olivia and Kory bonded instantly over golf, good food, and family. Eventually, Olivia convinced Kory to pick her up for their first date, though what Kory didn’t know was that Olivia was simply avoiding having to shovel out her car from the recent snowstorm. They arrived at Ancho at the exact same moment as bridesmaid Tyler White, prompting Kory to wonder if Olivia had orchestrated the whole thing so Tyler could secretly spy on their date. (She hadn’t, but the timing was impeccable.) Many dates later, they like to say they officially fell in love on the dance floor at Six Strings, dancing to Brushville covers and laughing the night away. The rest, as they say, is history.

After a long workday, Olivia had one mission in mind: a well-earned margarita at Chili’s. What she didn’t know was that Kory had a mission of his own. The ring he’d picked up weeks earlier had been burning a hole in his pocket, and he’d decided that today, May 23rd, 2025, was THE day. Olivia walked through the door, dropped her coffee cup and lunchbox on the counter, and casually asked Kory if she should keep her shoes and coat on so they could head to happy hour. Instead, Kory told her that Maggie had a surprise waiting for her… but only after she read the letter sitting on the counter. As Olivia read, her heart started to race. The note ended with the words, “Will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me?” She looked up to find Kory already down on one knee in the middle of the kitchen, tears in his eyes. “Olivia, will you—” he began, but she didn’t let him finish. “YES!” she said, overwhelmed with joy. It was an incredibly special, unforgettable day, and yes, they did, in fact, end up celebrating at Chili’s with that well-deserved margarita.
