Olivia and Kirk had a mutual friend that initiated a blind double date in 2013. Contrary to where they are today, this date did not go well. They went their separate ways and ran into each other a couple of months later at a gathering. Friend groups collided, and this friendship grew and grew. Olivia Moved off to college in downtown Atlanta, and Kirk started a new adventure with the United States Air Force. When Kirk returned from basic training, they reconnected. From there, sparks flew. Kirk and Olivia supported each other through their educational and career endeavors. They reignited a friendship that began so long ago. They grew closer through their love of travel on adventures like Orlando, Seattle, Washington DC, Gatlinburg, Ashville, and of course, their yearly experiences at Amicalola Falls. Hiking has been a favorite pastime activity, which led to the spot chosen by Kirk for the proposal - The Falls.
