Yes! It will be on the Vashon Side. You will take a Lyft or Uber to the ferry in West Seattle and walk on. When you get off the ferry, a shuttle will be there, meeting you to take you to the venue. It will also take you back to the ferry at the night's end, where you will walk on again.
The ferry takes 20 minutes to get there, but at the end of the night, however, it could take 45 minutes on the way back because sometimes they make another stop first. The ferry schedule is on the travel page. (Remember to check the schedule posted on the travel page the day of!). You will want to give yourself an hour of buffer time to avoid missing the ferry when coming to the venue in the afternoon. They always have ferries that go late until midnight or later, so no one should get stuck!

To walk on is about $6, and to drive is $30.
Yes, you are welcome to drive! This is address 23416 115th Ave SW, Vashon, WA 98070
It should be nice and sunny as it has been historically. But as we will be in PNW, it can still get cold and will probably be a little chilly at night. Bring a backup sweater. There is a small indoor area with a fireplace to warm up at night, and the pavilion has heaters in it as well.
We will be getting on the later ferry, which makes another stop, so it does take a little bit longer to get back to Seattle, but it still isn't very long! once back in Seattle, it is up to you what you want; to do!
Yes, kids are welcome; however, remember it is on an island, and you might need to leave earlier than other guests. You want to plan your trip precisely, so you don't miss the ferry. The venue does require that kids be watched and monitored at all times because it is a large garden of 16 acres. There is also a pond; we wouldn't want anyone falling in.
Yes, there is a water taxi that leaves from Downtown Seattle; however, the hours it operates are far less than the ferry from West Seattle. https://kingcounty.gov/depts/transportation/water-taxi/vashon.aspx
As far as I know, there are no Ubers/lyfts on the island.
No, Unlike some other islands around here. Where the town is right there when you get off; you must drive or have some transportation to the central downtown. (walking would take a while, even on the small island)
It is an outdoor wedding venue with a built-in pavilion and heat lamps. There is a small indoor space with a fireplace, and the bathrooms are inside.
