Maid of Honor
Abbey and I met Freshman year at Lander University. Who knew your random roommate from Freshman year would become your MOH? I admire a lot of things about Abbey such as her light hearted spirit, adventure seeking personality and empathetic nature. She has a contagious laugh that could brighten any room. She has always been there as one of my biggest supporters through times of celebration and bad times. There are very few people I know that I can call in the middle of the night to plan a long weekend road trip to St. Louis without questions. Abbey is my friend that will answer any crazy "What if" question that arises and listen to any crazy story/idea that will soon occur. Abbey is one of my best friends and without her life would have a little less sparkle.
Matron of Honor
Bailey and I met in Graduate School at Western Carolina University studying to become Speech Language Pathologists. Yes, we know we look alike. No, we are not sisters :) Bailey and I became instantaneous friends from the moment we met. We quickly realized that we share very similar beliefs, interests and ideas. Bailey is one of my most resilient, calm natured and family oriented friends and I truly treasure each of these traits. I often find myself looking to Bailey for reassurance to bring me down a few octaves (except when we get lost hiking... which occurs frequently). Bailey is beautiful on the inside and out and anyone who meets her quickly realizes that. Bailey is my friend that keeps me quick witted and encourages me to always try new things!
Bridesmaid
Nicole and I became friends during Senior Year of High School at T.L. Hanna. It wasn't until college that she quickly became one of my best friends. Nicole is my friend who is very driven, open minded and full of wisdom. Most of my favorite memories from college and adulthood have Nicole in them. She is always ready to have a good time whether that may be from tubing down rivers, skiing down the "baby" black diamond when you both know you are nowhere near that skill level and going on road trips with minimal sleep. Nicole and I have learned a lot from each other without a doubt. Nicole is my friend that encourages me to laugh during the storms and celebrate the small things along the way.
Bridesmaid
Jessica and I met my Sophomore year at Lander University. This type of friendship became a strong bond from the moment we met and we haven't skipped a beat yet! Jessica is my friend that loves intentionally, listens carefully and encourages me always. She is one of the most driven people I have ever met. Jessica and I have shared many memories from mixers, formals, late night study sessions and beach trips. Jessica has always been there for me, no matter what or when I may need her. We became close friends through our ZTA family, but as time progressed she became less of a sorority sister and more of an actual sister. To ZTA, I am eternally grateful for this sister of mine.
Bridesmaid
Mekenzie and I met in Middle School on the JV soccer team. We both played defense and needless to say.... we have always had each others backs since then! Mekenzie is my friend that is beautifully artistic, exercises way too much at the junkyard and is super family/friend oriented. She loves hard and gives 110% with whatever she chooses to do. Growing up with Mekenzie, I have shared many memories both on and off the field that I will forever cherish. After high school, we attended two separate universities and have lived in two separate cities since then, but we always find a way to come back together. I can tell her absolutely anything... the good, the bad and the ugly and she still thinks I am sane! Thank goodness that my awkward years of life brought me a long life friend!
Bridesmaid
Jamila and I first met in diapers in the nursery at Montessori School of Anderson. Needless to say, we have been trouble together since before we could walk! Jamila is my friend that is adventure seeking, goal oriented and can make you laugh in any situation. We have literally been through every walk of life together and I would not have it any other way. Unfortunately for me, Jamila loves to travel the world/work in states far away from me, so... we get to see each other every time she is in town or if I am traveling nearby her. No matter the distance, I know Jamila is always a phone call away! *If anyone has any suggestions/persuasions on how to get her to move back to SC, I am all ears ;)
