Question

Will I get an official invitation in the mail?

Answer

Nope! Your Save The Date serves as your official invitation! We decided to save some trees and forgo the additional pomp and circumstance. Please refer to this wedding website for all important information and details about the wedding weekend and our special day!

Question

Where can I stay overnight for the wedding weekend?

Answer

Cave B has 55 rooms available onsite. You can book rooms starting on May 29, 2020 for our wedding weekend. The entire property is reserved for our wedding party and guests, and reservations can be made from Thursday to Monday nights. Hotel rates vary by room type, between $200-400 per night. In the event that overflow will be needed if the rooms at Cave B book up, the city of Quincy is just 20 minutes away and has various accommodations there - hotels, Airbnb, VRBO.

Question

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Cave B Inn and Spa is located in Quincy, WA - this is about 150 miles outside of Seattle, or about a 2.5 hour drive. We recommend you drive/carpool to the location. Input the address into your GPS and it should take you right there: 344 Silica Rd NW, Quincy, WA 98848.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

If you are staying at the hotel, feel free to arrive anytime ahead of your booking. If you are just coming for the wedding and celebration, we recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Question

Where should I park? Is parking free?

Answer

There is parking onsite at Cave B. Parking is free.

Question

What do I wear to a wedding at Cave B?

Answer

No need to go black tie affair here, but something nice and fancy is great! (Think: semi-formal/cocktail attire.) For guys, either a suit or nice slacks/sportscoat. Ties and bowties are optional but encouraged! For the gals, a lovely dress - long, short, cocktail... the options are endless! Just make sure to have a pair of comfy shoes on hand to get down on the dance floor :) Also note the wedding and reception will be outdoors, so if you get chilly we recommend you bring a jacket or sweater as well.

Question

What will the weather be like in October?

Answer

Historically, the average temp on October 9th has been between 66-71 degrees F. Once the sun goes down, it can get chilly. BRING A JACKET/SWEATER/SOMETHING WARM!

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be outdoors. In the event of rain or wind, there is an indoor option we could use. But, let's just hope and plan for nice weather :) Make sure to bring both sunscreen and a jacket!

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can remain in the ceremony space for Cocktail Hour, where we will be serving finger foods and beverages... and the views of the Gorge are pretty epic from there so you can enjoy the view! After Cocktail Hour, head up to the Upper Piazza for the reception - dinner and dancing.

Question

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Yes! For Cocktail Hour, we plan on serving some appetizers - Crostini with Marinated Tomatoes & Basil and Asparagus Spears with Goat Cheese wrapped in Coppa. Beer/wine on us :) For the Reception, dinner will include chicken piccatta, penne aurora, tri-colored potatoes, roasted vegetables, quinoa salad, Caesar salad, and delicious focaccia bread. Beer/wine will be on us. Cocktails will be available for purchase (~$10-15 per cocktail).

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #blissfullyblandy so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

Question

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes, the both spaces are wheelchair accessible.
