Doesn't matter what boarding time you get, you can STILL get on the boat starting at 11am if you want to maximize the time on the ship (we will be doing this lol). THE LATEST you can check in is 2pm!!!!! Boat leaves at 4pm.
All entertainment, tons of food options including quick bites, cafes, buffet, and sit down lunch and dinner in main dining hall, sodas/coffee/tea/basic juices. Basically everything is free except soda/alcohol/fancy coffee/water bottles, internet, spa (massage, hair dresser, personal trainer), and some fancy restaurants. If you do not want to just walk around Ensenada to explore the town and eat mexican food... it costs extra to do excursions in Ensenada. You have to book either through Royal Caribbean or find some stuff through trip advisor etc. Some examples of excursions are kayaking and snorkeling, winery tour, cooking class etc.
No. The royal Caribbean phone app has in-app messaging system where we can all communicate for free. If you want internet service, please purchase internet separately starting 2 months before the cruise date or on the ship. There is no phone cellular service while at sea. All phone calls have to be made through the internet or until we get to port. When we are at port, we will be in Mexico so you need international data plan. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/booked/cruise-ship-wifi
You can purchase beverage packages 2 months before the cruise date. I'm pretty sure it's cheaper to just buy individual alcoholic beverages unless you're Austin... https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/royal-caribbean-drink-prices https://www.royalcaribbean.com/booked/beverage-packages You are allowed to bring 1 bottle of wine/champagne on-board per person. We can coordinate later if we want to bring our own wine/champagne on the ship.
There are water cup stations throughout the ship and bars where you can ask for cups of water. No refillable water stations for bottles (weird, I know....). The tap water in your stateroom is technically drinkable.... You are allowed to bring 12 water bottles, 17oz max each, onto the ship per stateroom. We will make 2 stops at port where you can buy more water bottles.
Basically an app where it displays all of the ship activities, entertainment, restaurants etc. You can make show or dinner reservations through this app. The app will fill with information 2 months before our cruise date. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/booked/royal-app
Please bring 1 "nicer" clothes. There is usually 1 "formal" dinner in the main dining hall. (honestly, a polo shirt with closed toe shoes and slacks could probably qualify for formal haha). Remember to bring passport, all prescription and non-prescription medicine that you think you may need (tylenol, zyrtec etc), all toiletries, swim suit, gym clothes if you want to go to the gym, credit card/debit card with no international fees hopefully or cash if you want to buy something in Ensenada.
