FAQs

We cannot wait to celebrate our marriage with you! With so many people in Heaven and Earth who cannot be with us during this time, we are especially grateful for those of you who can. To keep us all as safe as possible, we are asking everyone to get tested prior to our wedding. Please see the details below and reach out if you have any questions about the best way to go about this.
Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are both black tie. For the rehearsal dinner, the dress will be dressy casual. Dress to eat oysters! Portions of both events will take place outdoors, so wear what you need to be warm and comfortable!

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

At such a time as this, we are just honored to have loved ones celebrate with us. But if you feel inclined to give a gift, we are registered on Brooklinen, West Elm, Williams Sonoma, and Anthropologie. Most items are reflected here on Zola. For those who would like to shop in person in Charleston, we are also registered at a good family friend’s shop in South Windemere called Rhodes Boutique.

Question

Can I bring a date

Answer

Only if your invite mentions them by name. We are keeping things small to try and be as safe as possible.

Question

Where can I get tested in Charleston?

Answer

We ask that EVERYONE get a Covid test right before the wedding. Please plan on that so we can have a safe and lively event without as much fear. The following link will take you to the SCDHEC website for testing locations. There is a 'free testing' filter you can apply and see which offices offer testing for free. The days and hours of operation of these clinics are subject to change frequently and we suggest following the link to see what the current status is. https://scdhec.gov/covid19/covid-19-testing-locations MUSC also provides free testing. You will need to create an MUSC virtual care account here https://muscvirtualcare.zipnosis.com/login and then follow along to request an online screening to determine your eligibility for taking a test. When you get the results from the virtual visit that direct you to take a covid test, you should then be able to schedule an appointment soon thereafter. Please reach out to Jon (864-350-3102) if you have any questions at all!

For all the days along the way
