Our Story
Joel and Olivia met while working as nurses at The Ohio State University. What began as a friendship quickly grew as they scheduled shifts together, shared countless lunch breaks, and spent hours talking after work. Before long, their connection was impossible to ignore, and they made it official.
Just months into dating, they became travel nurses and road-tripped to Washington, camping through national parks, hiking, and exploring new cities. They spent three months exploring the Pacific Northwest, including their first overnight backpacking trip in Olympic National Park. Next came six months in Arizona, where their life of adventure continued.
While in Arizona, Joel planned a trip to Zion National Park—on Olivia’s bucket list—and he proposed among the red cliffs. She said yes! Soon after, they returned home to Clintonville, bought a house, and went back to nursing at OSU—ready for their greatest adventure yet!
