Macy and Olivia became close friends in fourth grade and have been A1 bestie best friends ever since. Growing up they enjoyed making hilarious music videos together on an iPod, skiing, and camping together. Currently, Macy lives in Washington but no distance can break this duo! They like attempting work out videos and debriefing about it after, and sending long videos back and forth to stay caught up in each other’s lives. Macy can always manage to keep Olivia level headed, optimistic, and keeps Olivia’s social battery charged.
Kaitlyn Snoap

Katie and Olivia met in kindergarten but got close in third grade when Olivia told Katie “We’re going to be friends now.” And the rest was history. Growing up they played outside together, and made a lot of core memories in Grand Haven during their early teenage years. They love having game nights, and going to Mexican restaurants with Macy for life updates and full send margaritas. Katie has always been entertaining, light hearted, and able to brighten up anyone’s mood. She will keep everyone laughing and relaxed on Jake and Olivia’s wedding day.
Sophia Stevens
Bridesmaid
Sophia is Olivia’s sister in law and has been a support person of Olivia’s for years. Caiden and Sophia started dating shortly after Olivia and Jake and Sophia immediately fit right in. She is incredibly thoughtful, Jake turned 21 in the peak of the pandemic and she turned her apartment into a Mexican fiesta with margaritas, tacos, and decorations. Together they enjoy indulging in baked goods, and dreaming about becoming moms together in the future. Sophia is the person to go to if you need an honest opinion, she’s incredibly authentic. Sophia is exactly the type of person that makes a wedding run smoothly.
Macey Fortuna

Macey is Jake’s sister and was in middle school when they met. Olivia loved sneaking up to Maceys room before leaving their house to chat about Macey's life and school and friends. Now, Macey and Olivia enjoy a good game night with family whether it’s board games, card games, or Jack box games. Macey also has a talent of getting Jake to talk politics and current events for as long as you’ll let him. Macey is extremely helpful, generous, and speaks up for what she believes in. She’s given a lot of time and energy helping with wedding duties.
Caiden Pietrowski
Groomsman
Caiden is Liv’s older brother, and is now the older brother Jake never had. When Jake and Olivia first started dating, Caiden was always very welcoming, even as he was building out his life, including finding his life partner Sophia around the same time. Jake and Sophia, together as the Colts, have helped to bridge the six year age gap between Caiden and Olivia, helping the four of them become close friends. Caiden is always there to offer advice, cool down a situation, field a phone call, or teach a new golf shot. He is a kind and compassionate person, and the wedding party wouldn’t be complete without him.
Craig Hoskins
Groomsman
Craig was Jake’s first friend when he moved to Hudsonville in 6th grade. They were teammates on the football team and shared one thing; extroverted parents! One arranged date later and the rest is history. Jake and Craig played sports together throughout school, including basketball, football, and the track. Sports continue to be a large aspect of their friendship. Jake and Craig love to go to Games at VanAndel, meet on the golf course for a round, compete in weekly pickup games, or watch the Lions choke away playoff games. Craig is a fun, light-hearted guy who really loosens up after a couple drinks!
Dakota Howley

The line defining when Dakota and Jake met in middle school is blurred, but afterward they were rarely apart. They would spend weeks at each other's houses and only separate when their parents were sick of them. While they were out causing trouble, Dakota got Jake out of his shell. While Jake had a more calculated approach to their activities; whether that be long-boarding down a newly paved street, or sneaking out of the house. After a few years apart following high school, Dakota and Jake have rekindled their long time friendship playing golf, and going to Spartans games together.
Cameron Fortuna

Cameron is Jake’s oldest younger brother. Cam and Jake were very close when they were kids. They shared a bedroom until they moved with their parents in 5th and 2nd grade. They would spend hours playing PS2 and Gamecube together in their bedroom, or making one cage zoos in the original Zoo Tycoon game. Cam is a carefree, go with the flow soul, who loves to poke at his brothers (especially Tom) in ways only the middle brother can. Into adulthood, Cam’s extroverted nature has made it hard to keep walls up. Cam’s willingness to do things for the fun of it, and unapologetic self will be a major asset to this wedding!
Tommy Fortuna

Tommy is Jake’s youngest brother. Even with a five year age gap, Tommy has always been Jake’s mini-me. Their love for the same sports, but hate for each other's team has created a long time competitive dynamic between them. Whether that’s clapping for a Final Four birth, or tossing a backwards shot to finally beat big brother. Together they love to talk sports, complain about work, and chill up north by a fire. Tommy has a similar compassion to others, and care for civil rights as Jake, only strengthened their relationship into adulthood. Tom’s pragmatic approach, and detail oriented mindset makes him a trusted member of this bridal party.
Sloane Rushlow

Olivia has been nannying Sloane for 2 years and met her family before she was even born! Together they love singing and dancing (Sloane has always had great moves) and going for walks. She is one of the sweetest funniest little girls and will make an excellent flower girl.
August Smit
Ring Bearer
Olivia began nannying for August and his twin brother Parker when they were six months old. She’s learned so much about herself as well as caring for children through these experiences. August likes going to Sandy Donuts and playing gaga ball with Olivia, and has been counting down to this wedding for years!
Parker Smit

Olivia began nannying Parker and his twin brother August when they were six months old. They’ve laughed together, they’ve cried together, and it’s only fitting to include them on her special day. When Jake and Olivia got engaged, Parker asked if he could be her husband when Jake is done (after finding out he can’t marry his mom).
Weston Smit
Flower Child
Weston is the youngest of the Smit boys, he will be accompanying Sloane down the aisle as flower children. Now that his big brothers are at school most of the day, he and Olivia have gotten very close. They like to do puzzles together and go to story time at the library. He may be small, but his dance moves are mighty!
