Is there a dress code?

Answer

For Saturday evening’s festivities the dress code is “creative formal,” meaning we request that guests wear formal attire, but please feel free to wear bright colors, bold patterns, unique fabrics, and playful accessories if that suits you! The ceremony will be outside on grass in the mid-afternoon sun, but we’ll move inside as the evening cools off.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We hope kids will join us for Friday's lobster bake, breakfast & daytime activities on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday, but are keeping Saturday's ceremony and reception adults-only. We'll be providing child care from 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM Saturday night just steps away from the reception site. Please make sure to note any kids that will be joining you and your child care preferences at the RSVP link.

Tell me more about the venue!

Answer

All events will take place at Linekin Bay Resort in Boothbay Harbor, Maine. When looking for a venue, our priority was to find somewhere that we could all stay together for the weekend. LBR is right on the ocean, and offers complimentary activities including swimming in the heated, saltwater pool; pickleball; kayaking, canoeing, and paddleboarding; sailing; sauna; lawn games; and our personal favorite, sitting in Adirondack chairs on the dock & enjoying the ocean breeze.
