Glen and Olivia met through the "wonderful" world of online dating, via Bumble. Olivia messaged Glen with her bingo results -- Glen had uploaded a bingo card with facts about him, and we had several "bingos," so it's safe to say we had a lot in common. On their first date, they met up to take a walk at a local park in Apex, North Carolina. Unfortunately for Olivia, it was drizzling that day and she wore a white tennis dress! Glen's first words to Olivia in person were, "Oh no -- you're wearing white!" Then he offered her an umbrella in true gentlemanly fashion. We didn't let a little rain deter us from our walk. Our first date ended with good laughs and conversation over Chipotle and a small kiss to let Olivia know that Glen was (very) interested in seeing her again. Fast forward several months (after spending as much time together as we possibly could in between work and school, and talking late into the night on many occasions), and Glen asked Olivia to be his girlfriend, which was an obvious "yes." The years since have involved cross-country travel, Olivia's adoption of cats, Olivia graduating and Glen starting grad school, the trials and tribulations of job and grad school applications, a move to Northwest Arkansas, introducing our pets, lots of growth, lots of laughs (and tears), and lots of love. It feels so right to be here today celebrating our story with you, and it means so much to us that you are here! Fun Fact: We will be exchanging our Church vows the day before, so while we will already be married, we are so excited you will be joining us for our celebration and the exchange of our personal vows!
