Garrett and Olivia met randomly close to 6 years ago and instantly made a connection. Olivia's roommate at the time, Brynn, was having people over and invited her down to come hang out with everyone. Garrett texted Brynn from across the room and said "woah, what's up with your roommate she's cute". She told him Olivia was in a relationship and to forget about it. They enjoyed some drinks and conversation that night but after that didn't see each other again for a few months. About 7 months later, situations were different and a group of friends were going to see Rufus Du Sol. That night, Olivia and Garrett danced and exchanged numbers and thought "ok, ok, maybe this could go somewhere". After that it wasn't "the rest is history". Garrett ghosted Olivia a couple of times and had her second guessing...... but after a trip to Bali and realizing he could lose her, Garrett stepped his game up and the two became inseparable. They finally "made it official" on May 5, 2017 and Garrett old school style asked Olivia to be his girlfriend. So they thought it'd be cute to keep the anniversary on their original one and now here we are. Thank you all for being a part of our journey!
