What should I wear?

Answer

We ask that you dress in semi-formal attire: Men - suits are welcomed but so are dress slacks and a button up with dress shoes. Ladies - dresses, jumpsuit, separates, etc. Use our wedding as an excuse to wear your Sunday best! Please avoid jeans, t-shirts, tennis shoes, whites, and off-whites/light pinks. **The venue is a historic site, stilettos are not permitted**

Will this be outside?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony will be outside but the reception that follows will be inside.

What will I eat?

Answer

(Pizza) Pie! There will be a pizza buffet along with salad. Dessert will follow. Signature drinks, beer, and wine will be available to drink.

What happens if it rains?

Answer

The ceremony is outside so rain or shine, the celebration continues! Please bring umbrellas if rain is in the forecast. **if there is heavy rain, we will move inside**

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the event. We have professional photographers to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy!

Where do I park?

Answer

Fort Monroe has open parking. There is not a designated parking lot for the venue but there is a lot of parking close by that will only require a short walk :)
