Eli and Olivia met at a friend's birthday party shortly before they were both planning to go on Clemson scuba club's spring break trip to Pensacola. During that week, they were quickly attracted to each other and were already planning a first date for when they got back from the trip. Olivia graduated that May of 2023 and Eli was just finishing his sophomore year. After only dating for a little more than a month and a half, Eli took a chance on Olivia and rented a room from a family friend of the Ollis's in Mount Pleasant for the summer where they both worked at Toast as servers. They continued long distance for the next two school years with Eli in Clemson and Olivia in Charleston at nursing school. Eli even spent a whole semester in Houston, TX for a co-op. They can't wait to finally end the distance and start their life together in Florence, SC where Eli works in orthopedic medical device sales and Olivia will start in the cardiac cath lab this summer.
