Olivia first met Gabby when she was a middle school tomboy- an energetic and competitive athlete who could outrun just about anyone. Over the years, she’s evolved into a true wellness guru while exploring the world solo. Gabby has the kindest heart and friendliest personality. Olivia met Julianna back when she was in 8th grade - fresh off a basketball court with a torn ACL and a tough decision ahead of her. She swapped layups for lyrics, and it was definitely the right call. Now a talented singer and actor living in Brooklyn, New York, Jules lights up every room she steps into. She’s creative, passionate, and always ready with a quick wit or niche movie quote. Olivia is beyond excited to have this rising star, and soon-to be sister-in-law standing by her side. One of Liv’s closest friends from college. Liv and Cassie met freshman year at UConn at a Tequila Tuesday party. After their mutual friend ditched them, they quickly became best friends that lasted for years to come. After graduation, they became roommates in Boston, where they navigated post-college life into adulthood. Cassie is such a loyal friend who gives the best advice and always ready to have a good time. Olivia met Audrey freshman year of college at UConn, and they instantly clicked over their shared sense of humor. Their friendship only grew stronger when they studied abroad together in Barcelona where they explored different countries and food (except when Audrey got food poisoning and Liv got sun poisoning). After college, they became roommates in Boston with lots of reality TV and mouse infestations. Audrey is the kind of friend you want around in every situation and Olivia couldn’t imagine her day without this hilarious, loyal, and all-around amazing person by her side. Olivia and Emily go way back - as in childhood neighbors and bus buddies turned high school best friends. Trauma bonding through summer field hockey boot camp, Olivia and Emily always stuck together making jokes along the way. Through college, they stayed best friends, always reconnecting like no time passed when they were together again. Olivia is so grateful to have her by her side - from the bus to the bridal party! After meeting freshman year at UConn, Dante and Jaden soon created the most dynamic duo the world might ever see. They’ve actually never lost in any sort of yard-game competition as a duo. Or at least that is what they think, but just let them have it anyways. They have a special friendship that continues to grow. Jaden is relentlessly driven and motivated to do great things in life, and he brings the best out of those around him, especially Dante. He’s the worthy best man for the wedding. AJ is always the chillest guy in the room. He just goes at his own speed, and isn’t bothered by anything he can’t control. However, his patience was truly tested when he was roommates with Dante while they were studying abroad in London. It all worked out just fine though, and they bonded as best buds over some pints of Guinness. Darien football legend, Tyler Grant, led the state in interceptions in his senior year. He probably peaked in high school athletically, as injuries derailed his sports career since. Have you ever heard of mallet finger? Tyler is the most social guy around, and gives the greatest first impression to everyone he meets. Which explains why Dante and Tyler quickly become lifelong friends in college and haven’t looked back since. Tyler is just a genuine guy that you want in your corner through all aspects of life. Jack O’Connor, or as everyone calls him “OC”, is a true legendary creature, in a good way! Dante and Jack met in college and quickly bonded over sports and “Nickel nights” at Huskies Bar. After college, they became golfing buddies together in Boston. Don’t ask how many rounds they played, just know they definitely improved their game and will soon be scratch golfers. Dante and Jeff quickly became best friends after Dante moved to Madison in middle school. They played AAU basketball together with their dads as coaches for “CT Gold”. Dante was about the same height as Jeff back then, but only one of them has grown taller since (you can guess who). Jeff, or “A-Train”, graduated from UConn in only two short months, receiving the quickest degree ever while couch surfing at Dante’s college house during Covid in 2020. Only problem was he never actually attended the school, and was an honorary addition after spring break in Cabo. Jeff naturally creates a memorable environment around him, and his fun-spirited energy is why him and Dante have shared thousands of great ones together. Dante and Mac have the type of unique friendship that few can relate to. If you didn’t know them, you would think they hate each other. But they are really just always going at each other in the most fun-loving way possible. When you first meet Mac, you’ll soon realize that he has the most ridiculously funny sense of humor that is one of a kind. Mac is the kind of loyal friend that everyone needs, bringing laughter and joy to every room full of people he walks in to. “Stepback, Cardiac Kemba.” Dante and Stephen were always destined to be close friends. They love sports and are fans of the same teams (yes, even the Cowboys), and there are countless of live sporting events they always seem to end up at together. Many say that Stephen was born in the wrong decade because he loves old movies and hes been to over 30 Bruce Springsteen concerts (don’t ask). But it also could be because of his old soul and loyalty that makes him a lifelong friend. You’ll never meet anyone that doesn’t like Stephen. Dante and Pat became best buddies through basketball in middle school and high school, where they always ran a lethal pick and roll/pop. They were almost as lethal in the fast break, but Pat usually didn’t make it up the court in time. The good times didn’t end there, and their friendship grew to greater heights living together in Boston. They still play some basketball together, just more of a slower “washed-up” version. Pat is a tried and true friend for life. Dante looks forward to hearing him repeat his jokes and stories another few thousand times. Dante also met Ryan through Madison youth basketball and they have been great friends ever since. They grew even closer during their time living together in Boston, some of the best years and memories shared together. Ryan is such a supportive and loyal friend, one that you want by your side in any tough situation. Ryan is also a massive Red Sox fan, actually so massive that in bad seasons we’ve had to worry about him harming members of the organization. Just joking of course, haha!
