The day was February 10th 2019, Olivia and Elaina (Co-Maid of Honor) were extremely hung over after attending Olivia's Medical School Gala the night before when Olivia received a text from an old college friend, Tim, to watch the 76ers play at the infamous Pitcher's Pub in Manayunk. The girls figured why not join knowing there's nothing like a little hair of the dog to solve the feeling of a night out; so the girls threw on some sweatpants and went to meet them. Little did Olivia know.. she was going to meet the best thing to ever happened to her! In the beautiful aura of the well known and well loved dive bar, Dan and Olivia got to chatting and the rest is history!

Our usual New Year's Day tradition is to go to the Mummer's Parade (a Philadelphia New Years Day Tradition) with friends and then go watch the Eagles play (GO BIRDS!) at a local bar. So Olivia was a little confused on why the plan was going to brunch with Dan's parents that day in Rittenhouse, but in her post call sleep deprived state didn't really think much of it. Dan and Olivia walked to Rittenhouse Park and as usual Olivia was asking a million questions about what the rest of the plans of the day and week to follow would be. When they arrived to the middle of the park there was a musician playing some of her favorite tunes and she started bopping around singing (come to find out later on, Dan had NOT planned this). Once again Olivia started asking questions about where his parents would be meeting us and noting that we couldn't be late and Dan stopped her mid-sentence and said "Olivia I'm proposing to you!" to which Olivia replied "Oh my God.. Shut the **** up!" Dan gracefully got to one knee and asked THE QUESTION, then pointed up to his office building and informed her that both of their entire family's were upstairs watching and waiting for us. We then went on to celebrate THE BEST DAY EVER at the Fitler Club with a small group of friends and family! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
