Hotel

The Wyman Hotel

1371 Greene Street, Silverton, CO 81433
 (970) 799-4952

We’re excited to share that we’ve reserved the entire hotel, The Wyman, for our wedding reception! The hotel will be exclusively rented out for our wedding guests from September 11th–13th and is conveniently located just minutes from the ceremony venue, making it an easy and seamless stay for the weekend. We would love for you to stay with us and celebrate together! To book, please click on the view tab below to see the room options still available and decide which one works best for you. Once you’ve chosen, book directly through the link. We suggest booking early, as availability is limited! *Please do not book the bunk room* Since our wedding will be held in a small town, accommodations are limited and rooms may book quickly. If you’re unable to secure a room at the hotel, we encourage you to explore nearby Airbnb options or other local hotels. The good news is that everything in town is very close by, so no matter where you stay, you’ll be just a short drive (or even walk!) from the celebration. We recommend staying in Silverton, as it is closest to all wedding events. Nearby towns may look close on a map, but travel times can be much longer due to mountain roads.

Flight

Durango-La Plata County Airport

For guests traveling by air, the closest airport is Durango–La Plata County Airport. From there, it’s approximately a one-hour drive to The Wyman in Silverton. The drive is beautiful and scenic, but please allow extra time and use caution, as it includes mountain roads! Rental cars are available at the airport, and we recommend booking transportation in advance.

Travel Note

Driving from Denver

Driving to Silverton from Denver: The easiest and safest route from Denver to Silverton is to take US-285 South to Pagosa Springs, then US-84 to US-160/US-550 North through Durango. This route avoids the steepest, narrowest, and guardrail-free sections of the “Million Dollar Highway” north of Silverton, offering a less intimidating, paved, and scenic journey. If you prefer a more adventurous drive, you can take the Million Dollar Highway route—but please drive carefully, as it is steep, winding, and can be challenging. In all cases, allow extra time for mountain driving, watch for wildlife, and be prepared for changing weather and road conditions.
