FAQs

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

We’ve listed a few nearby hotels for your convenience under the “Travel” section. While we do not have a reserved room block, there are a variety of options available in the area to suit different preferences and budgets. We recommend booking early to ensure the best availability.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we kindly ask that you refer to your invitation to see who is included. If children are listed on your invitation, they are warmly welcome to join us. Otherwise, we respectfully request that the celebration remain an adult event. Please note that the evening will cater mostly to adults. We truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we create an enjoyable atmosphere for all our guests.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly request semi-formal or dressy casual attire for our celebration. Think cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, or dress shirts and slacks. Obviously do not wear white unless you are the bride. While we’d love for everyone to look their best, we also want you to feel comfortable enough to dance, celebrate, and enjoy the evening with us!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly request that all guests RSVP by May 10th 2026. Your timely response will assist us in finalizing the arrangements and ensuring an enjoyable experience for everyone in attendance. We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to celebrating this special day with you.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest family and friends! Due to space limitations, we’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation. If you were given a plus one, it will be included on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate together!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 p.m., so we kindly ask that guests arrive by at least 4:15 p.m. to allow time to be seated and settled before the celebration begins. Your punctuality will help ensure a smooth and meaningful start to our special day.

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors in a shaded area. Following the ceremony, the cocktail hour and reception will be held indoors. We recommend keeping the outdoor portion in mind when selecting your attire and footwear.

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Yes, we do! Although your presence on our special day is gift enough! We’ve created a Honeyfund registry to help us make our honeymoon dreams come true. Since we’ve already built a home together, we decided to forgo a traditional registry. Our Honeyfund includes options to contribute toward our honeymoon experiences, as well as gift card selections for those who prefer that option. Your love and support mean the world to us, and we’re so grateful for any contribution toward this next chapter of our lives. https://www.honeyfund.com/site/lowe-smith-06-20-2026

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, there will be an open bar available for guests to enjoy, while supplies last. We kindly ask that anyone who plans to drink make appropriate arrangements for safe transportation at the end of the evening. Your safety and enjoyment are very important to us—thank you for celebrating responsibly!

Question

What food will be served?

Answer

Dinner will feature pulled pork and pulled chicken, served with mashed potatoes, baked beans, and macaroni and cheese. If these options don’t suit your preferences or dietary needs, you’re welcome to bring something you’ll enjoy. We want everyone to have a wonderful meal and a great time celebrating with us!

Question

What if I don’t RSVP in time?

Answer

If we do not receive your RSVP by May 10th, it will automatically be marked as "Not Attending". We will miss celebrating with you but it is imperative we provide our vendors with a final guest count within the time they have given us. Thank you for understanding!
