We met in high school, not knowing then how important we would become to each other. We were good friends, and a year later, we began dating. Since then, we have shared countless milestones and memories. Now, we look forward to saying ‘I do’ surrounded by our closest friends and family.

Our proposal was perfectly “us." We were at the beach, relaxing in the living room, and watching How I Met Your Mother. I was busy crocheting and determined to finish my project, even though Cobey kept suggesting we go for a walk on the beach. By the time I finally finished, it was too late for the walk. I left the room for a minute, and when I came back, he was gone. I headed to the kitchen, grabbed a glass of milk and five Oreos (yes, five!), and eventually found him waiting on the balcony. I ate four Oreos and shared the last one with him (like the sweet person I am). As soon as we finished our Oreos, he started giving me a sweet little talk. I didn’t take it too seriously at first… until he mentioned a ring. Without thinking, I reached over to check his pocket—and literally grabbed the ring box myself! We both laughed in shock, and after I had my little freak-out, he officially asked me to marry him.
