Forts Folle Avoine
A 17 minute drive from The Lodge at Crooked Lake, Forts Folle Avoine is a beautiful 80 acre Historical Park along the Yellow River. This is a living history site with two Fur Trade Posts reconstructed on the site known to be active from 1802 to 1805. Several museums, including an Ojibwe museum, logging museum and one-room schoolhouse, showcase other aspects of Wisconsin and Burnett County history.
