It all started over a New Jersey bagel (as all great love stories do), but before we get there, we have to start from the beginning. Olivia and Chris met in 2017, while studying journalism at Quinnipiac University. Olivia, a freshman, and Chris, a sophomore. At the school television station, Q30, Chris was given the tall task to show Olivia how to make sports graphics (mind you she knew close to nothing about sports). He was patient as she attempted to understand sports lingo. Afterwards, it was only right she thanked him via text for his time, but the conversation never seemed to end… One day, Olivia’s mom was getting New Jersey bagels sent to New England. She shared the excitement with Chris, a fellow New Jerseyan, who would understand. He asked if he could have one, so Olivia brought one over. Chris took the bagel and sent Olivia on her way. Disappointment was short lived because as she was walking home, he called her asking to come back. From there the two debated pork roll vs Taylor ham (which is still going on 8 years later). While Olivia’s sports career was short, their love story wasn’t. 8 years, 3 states, dozens of plane/train rides, living hundreds of miles apart, finally the distance is over. Olivia and Chris are now living happily in Hoboken with Hazel. They can’t wait to share their special day with you. Vermont is a place where Chris spent summers with his family and Olivia spent winters with hers. Fall is the perfect marriage of seasons for a place the pair love so much.
