Iconic photo-op area of London! Spend a day here walking to all the sites such as Westminster Abbey, Buckingham palace and Big Ben. Pro tip: To catch the change of the guards at Buckingham palace make sure you check the schedule online. The main one is on Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays at 11 am. Sky Garden
If you want great views of the city -- but don't want to pay the hefty price at the London Shard... This is a great alternative and its free! I would also argue that the views here are nicer as you get to see the Shard from here and get to sit in a lovely rooftop garden. Just make sure you book your ticket in advance. Pro tip: Free tickets for the Sky Garden are released every Monday morning for the week three weeks in advance. Notting Hill
