Will there be shuttles to Lucky 8 Ranch
Answer
YES - we have transportation to go to and from the venue. Please DO NOT drive to the venue. The shuttles will pick up at the Gondola Transit Center at the base of Steamboat Mountain at 3pm sharp. It’s diagonal from The Grand. There will be a shuttle picking up at the Residence Inn for anyone staying at the hotel at 3pm as well. Everyone else please go to the transit center. All downtown buses go to the transit center as well if you decide to stay downtown. You can park for free at Upper Knoll lot and Meadows lot by the shuttle pick up or there are pay lots.

What happens if I miss the bus at ~3pm?

You'll miss our wedding! Don't miss the bus! JK you may be able to uber.

Can I bring a guest/date?
Answer
Sadly, we are only able to accommodate those listed on the invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for your understanding and please reach out with any questions!

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
Yes! The drinks are on us but the hangover is on you - so get ready to party! For this reason, we encourage you to use the shuttles we have provided both to and from the venue. Also please note that at altitude one drink is the equivalent of 2, so drinks lots of water throughout the night.

What is the dress code?
Answer
Formal/Black Tie Optional The ceremony is on grass so plan accordingly for shoes! The reception tent has heaters in case it gets hold, make sure to bring a jacket or shawl for nighttime as it can drop below 50.

While we love your little ones, we’ve decided to keep our wedding adults-only to ensure a more intimate celebration.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony will be outside. The reception will be inside a tent with an added outside lounge. The mountains get chilly in the Fall, so we recommend a light jacket for nighttime.

Is the wedding venue really a bison ranch? Is it all outdoors?
Answer
Yes! Lucky 8 Ranch is a family-owned and operated bison ranch! Everything will be outdoors! We will be on grass for the ceremony and cocktail hour, so wear comfy shoes/block heels that you can get around in. The reception will be inside a tent with an outdoor lounge area by a fire. We expect it to be warm during the day, but can cool down at night (will be inside a tent post-sundown).
