Question

What time should we arrive at the event?

Answer

Ceremony starts promptly at 5:30 pm. We suggest arriving between 5-5:15 pm. With heavy construction within and surrounding the city and minimal parking at the venue, please leave yourself enough time to be in your seat before 5:30 pm.

What is the attire?

Answer

Black tie optional. Tuxes and floor-length dresses are preferred, but not required.

Should we drive to the event?

Answer

There is no parking lot associated with the venue. Minimal street parking is available. We recommend ride shares or carpooling!

Question

Will there be transportation to the venue from the hotels for the ceremony?

Answer

There will be no transportation to the venue from either hotel for the ceremony. However, there will be transportation to The Royal Sonesta Chicago Downtown at the end of the night starting at 10 pm. There will be no transportation to or from The Marriott Marquis as this is within walking distance to the venue.

Are children allowed at the wedding?

Answer

While we adore children, we've opted for an adults-only affair to allow everyone to relax and enjoy the celebration.

Can I take photographs during the ceremony?

Answer

While we love that you want to capture our special moments, we kindly request an unplugged ceremony to allow everyone to be fully present and immersed in the experience. Our professional photographer will be capturing all the highlights, and we'll share the photos with you afterwards!
