Matron of Honor
Lallie and Olivia met in the hospital when Lallie was born. Olivia says it was love at first sight and spent the next few years dressing poor Lallie up like a barbie and teaching her the ropes on how to be an even better version of Olivia. It worked. Lallie is Olivia's little sister in everyone's eyes and is the only one who can successfully put her in her place. Olivia decided Lolo would be her Maid of Honor at age 7. Lallie was also the first to meet Cary, and, from that point on, became his biggest advocate, patiently teaching Cary how to speak Olivia.
Best Man
Dennis & Cary met at LMU pledging Sigma Chi. As the "older" and "more mature" members of their pledge class, they struck up a friendship that has lasted since their formative college years and beyond. Corky as he is affectionately referred to as, has been the voice of reason in their friendship for the past 20-years, but often caves to Cary’s antics. Challenge him to a high-kick contest if you are up for a challenge.
Bridesmaid
Jcaz and Olivia didn't meet until highschool which is probably why they still aren't tired of each other after talking at least once a day since 2002. Julie is Olivia's therapist, confidante, and best friend rolled into one. They're really more like one person split into 2 and will be besties until the end of eternity whether Julie likes it or not.
Groomsman
Originally meeting while Peter was visiting friends at LMU in 2003, Cary and Peter became longtime friends while they were both living in Chicago. Never one to pass up a shot of fireball, Peter can always be counted on for a fun time and is the keeper of those embarrassing photos we all wish didn’t exists.
Bridesmaid
Olivia met Hannah in first grade and is Olivia’s oldest friend. From doubles partners, hockey teammates and avid fisher(wo)men, they’ve been through it all., but it was the shoe throwing incident of 1994 that solidified it. Hannah is now forever a part of the Chriss family. Clarification: they’re actually sisters not friends.
Groomsman
John and Cary met while pledging at LMU. John the natural leader was instrumental in keeping Cary from being kicked out of the fraternity for his numerous infractions. Shortly after college, John and Cary found themselves neighbors in Chicago. Not much can be remembered (or told) from those seminal years, but needless to say Cary was lucky to have his old friend there to watch out for him.
Bridesmaid
Lesley and Olivia met in 4th grade. While 4th was a tough year for Olivia (unibrow, recently diagnosed near sightedness, and the trendy Meg Ryan haircut), Lesley was unphased and found Olivia to be a solid Perry Sticks teammate. Later, they'd go on to lead a cheerocracy together as cheer captains.
Groomsman
As Olivia's older brother, John was one of the first people Olivia sought for approval of Cary from. Immediate friends, Cary and John bonded over their inner nerd for all things Star Wars and hatred of cubed breakfast potatoes. John graciously agreed to be a groomsman and serve as Olivia & Cary's sponsor in the Greek Orthodox church.
Bridesmaid
Juju and Olivia met in first grade too. I think they were forced into friendship after their athletic moms teamed up to find them a trainer to help prep for their first, and only, marathon. With older siblings in the same grade, and an obsession of Smart Start and Crystal Light (not together), Julia and Olivia spent many nights AIMing their crushes and watching Friends. Little did they know their friendship would put Monica and Rachel's to shame.
Groomsman
Because Cary's Mom made him... (j/k). As Cary’s older brother, Eric always allowed Cary (and his ego) to shine. Humble and kind, Eric has always supported Cary; first through their school years and then as they worked together for the family business. Eric’s humility is best shown on the golf course, where he is continually defeated by his younger and more skilled brother.
Honorary Groomsman
Some may say Henrí is the true reason Cary is marrying Olivia. Henrí was the first member of the family to meet Cary and his approval was a non-negotiable for Olivia. Lucky for Cary, Henrí’s love was for sale with treats and tummy rubs. Now inseparable, Olivia is the odd one out in the bromance that is Cary & Henrí.
