All stories normally start with a once upon a time but since we are not normal we will start with...... The craziest thing happened one night. As you know Carl works as a Bouncer and one night he happen to be putting out a (as he calls it) a drunk fuck when Olivia was walking down the street. It was a cold night and Olivia's friend was not wearing enough clothes in his opinion. He said that we would be cold walking but we only parked up the street from where the bar was and we were fine (at least Olivia was). The night went on as Olivia and her friend danced and drank until it was time for the bar to close. Olivia walked back by where Carl was and Carl yet again was outside and he told us that it is cold and we should have a jacket on. Olivia let him know that she was fine and the car was right there. While looking back on it Olivia's friend was definitely cold. Yes being cold was the start of the conversation but what really drew Olivia in was that moment of introductions. Carl asked Olivia what her name was and as Olivia was saying her name, Carl took his glove off to shake her hand and to say his name. Carl could have definitely kept his gloves on and just left it at Hello and Goodbye but only a gentleman would take that extra step to take the glove off. We both were in crazy stages in our life and knew that it was best to just be friends and that's how it started. Lunch dates, dinner dates, hang outs with other friends, and don't forget drinks at the Brewery. You never really know why someone is put into your life but you have to trust and believe that there is always a plan and the right person always comes at the right time.

It was just another day for Olivia. Lies, it was her birthday and she was just so happy to go to Maggianos and eat some delicious food with friends and family. On the other side, Carl was happy but also anxious, nervous, on edge and hoped for an awesome day that did not end in homicide (yes he would have cut me if I said no lol) but rather with joy. Little did Olivia know that today would be the day Carl would ask her to be his wife. Olivia and Carl had progressed in their relationship but engagement was not a thought in Olivia's mind. As dinner had come to an end and it was time for dessert, Olivia just wanted to eat the cake from Wegmans that she had a taste for. Carl got down on one knee (having bubble guts) and vowed to be true and faithful to Olivia but to also be there through the up's and down's. Olivia could only cry but also said YES. It was a delightful day and Olivia was in Awe and Carl was very ecstatic that she had said yes.
