Like a lot of modern love stories, ours started with a swipe! She was in college, focused on classes and campus life. I was working and staying in an Airbnb right next to her school. By pure chance and a little help from Tinder’s location settings we matched. What started as a simple conversation quickly turned into something neither of us expected. We began hanging out all the time. What were supposed to be casual meetups turned into long talks, late nights, and countless sleepovers. Being together felt easy. Natural. Like we had known each other longer than we actually had. Before long, we started dating and that moment became the start of everything. We’ve had our ups and downs, just like any real relationship does. We’ve learned, grown, and figured life out side by side. Through every challenge and every joy, one thing has stayed the same at the end of the day, we choose each other. Not because it’s always easy.
