We met in October of 2020 while working at Chick-fil-A—Archer was already there, and I had just returned home after a summer away. At the time, we were just coworkers… nothing more (yet). That changed in April of 2021 when I made the first move and asked Archer to get ice cream. One Cold Stone trip later (which we still haven’t repeated), things started to fall into place. Soon after, he asked me to go to church with him, and we began spending more time together. On June 1st, 2021, our Chick-fil-Ationship officially began. Archer drove to Raleigh to get Crumbl cookies and brought them back to Greenville—inside the box was the question “Will you be my girlfriend?” and just like that, he was dating the boss’s daughter. That fall, I went to UNCW while Archer was at ECU, and we started a “medium-distance” relationship that lasted throughout college. After graduating, Archer moved to Wake Forest, and I moved to Raleigh, continuing to choose each other through every new season. On December 13th, 2025—just over four and a half years together—Archer proposed in Washington, NC. With the help of a cleverly planned family story and a beautifully decorated Christmas gazebo, Archer got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. From a Chick-fil-Ationship to college towns, Crumbl cookies, and countless memories in between, our story has been shaped by faith, laughter, and so much love. We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with our favorite people.
