It all started in the summer of 2020 at Holsteins but really, our paths had been crossing for years. We went to the same schools, just one grade apart, never quite connecting… until one night when I decided to walk up to Adam at the bar and tell him I thought he was cute. (A bold move that clearly worked out!) From that night on, everything just clicked. Within two weeks, Adam was up at my lake house, fitting right in like he’d been part of the crew forever. Somewhere between the boat rides, late-night laughs, and summer sunsets, I think we both realized there was something really special here. Our first date was a Cubs rooftop game during COVID, the stadium was empty, but we had the best time anyway (plus, no lines for drinks!). In August of 2022, we moved into our first apartment in Chicago. It was small but so perfectly ours the coziest little home filled with pizza nights, city walks, and too many Target runs. Those three years together in the city will always be some of our favorite memories. Then came one of the best weekends of our lives Adam proposed in Breckenridge, surrounded by our best friends and our favorite mountain views. It was perfect. Now, we can’t wait to say “I do” in our favorite city — Chicago — over Labor Day weekend, surrounded by all the people we love most. ❤️
