We met through mutual friends while studying at Old Dominion University. We started to do our homework together, meet up for dinner, and run into one another all over campus. One night, while talking about our lives, families, friends, dreams, goals, and passions until the sun came up, Olivia looked over at Jabril and thought, "I could fall in love with someone like this." Little did we both know, we had already fallen. On October 16, 2011 Jabril asked Olivia to be his girlfriend with a note, chocolate covered strawberries, and a single rose.

We decided to take our first official vacation, with just the two of us, at the end of the summer of 2016. Olivia and Jabril took a cruise to Florida and the Bahamas. After a couple of wonderful days out to sea, we arrive at our Floridian port. It was a rainy day in Florida, but we decided we'd still go to Walt Disney World. Olivia selected their three fast passes, with the first stop being photographs with Cinderella. Once our photo session time arrived, Jabril borrowed the spotlight for a fairtytale engagement and asked Olivia, "It's been four amazing years, what about forever?" The rest is still unwritten.
