FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony begins promptly at 4:00 PM. We kindly ask that you arrive and are seated at least 5–10 minutes beforehand so we can begin on time. Planning at least 30 minutes before is usually a great way to arrive on time. Because as it has been said "On time is late and early is on time."

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

It’s summertime! We encourage lighter, dressy attire—think Sunday best and leave the jeans and t-shirts at home. But if your wardrobe is limited, don’t stress—just show up, look your best, and enjoy the day with us!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are welcome! That said, our gorgeous lake-side venue requires little ones to be supervised at all times. If you’d like to dance, mingle, and enjoy the celebration worry-free, we recommend arranging a sitter—kids running around unattended simply won’t be allowed. Safety first, fun always

Question

Do I have to attend both the ceremony and reception?

Answer

No worries at all! You’re welcome to come to either or both. In the RSVP section, you’ll be able to select whether you’d like to attend one or both events—just let us know!

Question

Am I supposed to bring a gift?

Answer

The short answer is no. More than anything, we want to celebrate with you! If you’d like to give a gift, it would mean so much and be a great help as we begin this new chapter. But please know your presence is what we value most, and we’d be honored to have you there regardless.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony? Or is it “unplugged”?

Answer

We’re going unplugged for the ceremony, so take a break from your screens and soak in the moment! Don’t worry—you can still get your photos. Disposable cameras will be in the party room, perfect for snapping pics with the bride and groom, in front of the picture wall, or with your friends and family.
