Yes, the ceremony will be held at Pillar Church, which has a parking lot directly adjacent to the building. There is also plenty of parking available downtown Holland, but we recommend allowing extra time in case of busy summer Saturday traffic. Immediately following the ceremony, we kindly ask that you park at FieldStone Farm (6249 143rd Avenue, Holland) as there is no parking available at the Lappinga household. A shuttle will be provided to transport you to and from the reception. Please arrive at Field Stone Farm no later than 6 PM, to ensure transportation to the reception. We HIGHLY recommend car pooling, if possible. Thank you!
Our ceremony will begin at 4:00 PM at Pillar Church. We kindly ask guests to arrive between 3:30 and 3:45 PM to allow time for parking and seating before the celebration begins.
The dress code is Summer Formal. We want to keep things elevated, elegant and fun! For the gentlemen, suits or tuxedos are perfect. For the ladies, we’d love to see long summer colored dresses (please no black or patterns). We can’t wait to see you all looking your best! The ceremony will take place indoors at Pillar Church, which has air conditioning. The reception will follow outdoors under a tent in the grass, so please dress accordingly based on the weather.
Yes, an open bar will be available for guests throughout the reception. For everyone’s safety and to comply with alcohol service regulations, all guests will be required to show valid ID before being served alcohol, regardless of age.
