What is the easiest way to get to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Tabard Inn at 1739 N St NW, Washington, DC 20036. Valet parking is available ($20) at the Inn, but the venue is also a 5 minute walk from the Dupont Circle Metro (Red Line) south entrance at 19th St & Connecticut Ave NW.

What is the dress code for the big day?

Answer

Semi-formal/cocktail attire is encouraged. The ceremony will be on the restaurant patio which is technically outdoors, but in the shade. The reception will be upstairs, inside.

What kind of food will be served at the reception?

Answer

The reception will feature a variety of heavy hors d'oeuvres, drinks and -of course- cake. While there won't be a full, sit-down meal, there will be plenty to eat, while still being able to socialize.

We won't be able to make it to DC - will there be a way to watch the ceremony online?

Answer

With so many dear friends and family oceans away, we understand that not everybody will be able to make it to the District to celebrate in person. With this in mind, we will livestream the ceremony at 4:30pm EST, and you can access the livestream at this link: evt.live/olivia-and-thyago-wedding-06-21-2025
