They met in a bioethics class at the University of Kentucky. Kailey should've graduated by now and Cameron took this class because the one she actually wanted to take was already full. The class was small, Kailey spoke a lot & Cameron spoke a little. Despite being from the same small county and getting degrees in the same major at the same college, they had never been in the same space together or known the other existed. One day, class ended and they found themselves in the same elevator leaving the building they met in every week. Cameron decided not to take the stairs this time and also decided to speak to Kailey in this elevator... The two couldn't stop talking. They found themselves stuck on a sidewalk outside sorority row on campus, talking until the sun started to set. They both knew the connection was different and it felt as if they knew each other for years before... The rest is history. Here we are!
There was much going on that day... a much anticipated Taylor Swift concert in Cincy and a flight to Florida for a cruise to the Bahamas to follow that next morning. With a melting cake in the trunk and a ring in her backpack, Kailey loaded the car and they headed to Cincy for a night with friends and our very own mother: Taylor Swift. The Eden overlooks offered a safe space to sit and be - so they went. Kailey pulled out a cooler and Cameron got an idea... With a beating sun, a green lawn, and time to be with each other - Kailey asked Cameron if she'd like a ring to show others that she wants to spend forever with Kailey. The answer was an exuberant, long anticipated, tear-filled "Yes!'. They met with friends and danced the night away. The night couldn't have been more perfect. Let's do this thing!
