Utah's Hogle Zoo

Visit the Hogel Zoo! This is one of our favorite activities in SLC. If arriving early, check out ZooBrew special event on July 16. On ZooBrew nights, Hogel Zoo partners with local breweries for an adults-only event. The Zoo stays open late (so it is cooler temperature) and you can walk around with the adult beverage of your choice. Super fun event- we go every summer! You do need to pre-buy tickets for this event.

Natural History Museum of Utah

301 Wakara Way, Salt Lake City, UT 84108

So many dinosaurs. Also a nice inside activity when it is hot out.

Arches and Canyonlands National Parks are approximately 3.5 hours away in Moab Utah, Zion National Park is about 4.5 hours away in St. George, Utah, and Bryce Canyon and Capitol Reef are about 4 hours away in central Utah.
