I have been invited for the ceremony, how do I RSVP and when by?

Answer

Please visit the 'RSVP' section of this website and RSVP by 3rd May 2024, unless your invite has a different date, so we can inform the venue of the numbers. If you are unable to attend, we would appreciate you letting us know at the soonest opportunity, to allow us to offer your place to someone else.

Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate people who are not formally invited.

Can we bring our children?

Answer

Invitations are specific and will include the names of any children that are invited. However, we encourage you to use this evening as a night for yourselves to have some fun!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We will be dressing up and would love all of our family and friends to join us in this. We therefore request a formal dress code meaning dress to impress in your best suits and dresses. Please avoid wearing jeans, t-shirts, polo shirts, trainers etc. Ladies, please avoid wearing white or a shade of white.

Do you have a gift list?

Answer

The most important thing for us is for you to be present. However, if you would like to give us something, we would really appreciate any contribution to go towards our honeymoon trip to Asia. We have set up a 'collection pot' website to allow anyone who would like to contribute to do so online without needing to go to the cash machine! Please see the 'registry' tab for more info. But, if you would rather purchase a gift, feel free to surprise us in your own way!

Will the day be inside or outside?

Answer

We hope to hold the post-ceremony drinks reception outside, weather permitting. The venue also has a great internal option if the weather is not up to scratch.

Can I take pictures during the civil ceremony?

Answer

NO! We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer and videographer to capture our special day and we would like to see your smiling faces in the photographs and not your Iphone. After the ceremony, you are encouraged to take as many photos as you like. Once we have the official photographs back, we will share them to all of our guests.

What are the timings for the day?

Answer

We ask that day guests plan to arrive at 12:30 for a 13:30 ceremony. Following the ceremony, a welcome drink and canapes will be served, before the wedding breakfast at 15:30. The evening reception will start at around 19:00 with the party coming to an end at 1am!
