It all started in the most unexpected way, senior year of high school. Oliver had always played soccer, but in a twist of sports, he decided to try something new and joined the tennis team. That one decision changed everything. I was the assistant coach that year and little did we know, the universe had just set the stage for something beautiful. We didn’t start dating right away. We built a friendship first, one filled with laughter, long practices, peeling grapes and quiet moments that slowly turned into something more. It wasn’t until the season ended that we realized what we had was special. Our first kiss? Senior prom, 2016. The lights were low, the night was magical, and we shared our first dance to “Suavemente” by Elvis Crespo — a moment we’ll never forget. Since then, our bond has only grown stronger. We don’t really fight — we talk, we listen, we laugh. We complete each other in ways we never imagined, and we can honestly say we’ve found our soulmates in one another.
