Beautiful, crystal clear sea on a white sandy beach! Though, the waters might be cold in May. We love this place so much, we almost got married here. There's a chilled beach restaurant, which serves drinks and food, a couple of beach shops to enjoy and another restaurant further down the beach. If feeling bougie, you can rent sun-beds with the Cala Bassa Beach Club. But Ollie and I often just take towels and a cooler box full of rosé and have an equally dreamy time! Highlights: Clear waters for swimming & the cava sangria.
One of our favourite restaurants on the island. Set in the Ibizan countryside, this family-fun finca style restaurant does fresh, homemade Mediterranean food in a stunning setting. It's surrounded by citrus trees and orchards. Above all, the food is organic and fresh with great vegetarian options and has flavours of the Middle-East, Asia and North African mixed in with the Mediterranean vibe. Highlights: Views, relaxed countryside setting & fresh, organic food.
Expect a hippie vibe at this restaurant which serves Indian 'thali' style food, as well as fish and Thai options. The perfect location for a sunset, it is on Cala Compte, which is made up of four coves with shallow crystals water and a rocky ledge. Here you'll also find a cool, relaxed Ibizan bar called S'illa des Bosc for a pre or after drink! Highlights: Amazing view for sunset, drinks and great place for your fix of Indian food.
A little more off the beaten track, the Cala Moli beach is a bit quieter than most.. but the beach restaurant, El Silencio, can get quite lively after lunch! It has a nice pool too for a dip. Highlights: Fun restaurant, quieter beach.
This beach has a spectacular view of Es Vedra and has a large sandy beach. There are a couple of nice and fairly simple restaurants here, which sever delicious paella. Es Boldado is a restaurant higher up on the cliffs which we love for lunch or even a moonlit dinner - this place is a bit pricier though. Highlights: View of Es Vedra, nice swimming, paella.
Set in the North of the island, not too far from our wedding venue, is Benirras beach which has rocky sands and clear water. Famous for its idyllic scenery and hippie bongo drummers in the high season. Elements beach restaurant here is very good, but book in advance. There is a market here too to explore the Ibizan style clothes, trinkets and jewellery. Many an 'Aum' clothing item can be found here!
