Yes. Oliver & Cassidy have many friends and family overseas that they wish to share this special day with. A livestream link will be posted on the website so everyone can enjoy the moment whether it be in Canada, New Zealand, United States, Mexico, South Africa, England, or Switzerland!
As it is a December wedding, the ceremony and reception will be indoors. However, instead of a cocktail hour, guests are encouraged to explore the tiny shops and local pubs as the wedding party prepare for the reception. Merrickville becomes very picturesque during Christmastime.
December in Canada can be very unpredictable. We suggest bringing a warm winter coat (there is space to store jackets in the back) and a change of shoes for the indoor ceremony and reception. Bringing along a shawl incase you get cold inside might be a good idea.
The dress code for the wedding is formal. A tie and suit jacket are sufficient, and medium to floor length dresses are acceptable. The bridal party will be wearing burgundy, however, guests are encouraged to dress in emerald tones for cohesive photos.
Due to the limited amount of space at the Knox venue, Oliver and Cassidy had to carefully pick the guest list to suit the space. Due to this, they are unable to accommodate any additional guests.
Yes, the Main Street of Merrickville has ample street parking available for guests to conveniently park in.
Oliver and Cassidy are asking that cellphones and cameras be put away during the ceremony to ensure that the photographer can capture candid pictures of their families enjoying the moment together.
