Best Man
Gavin is my cousin, but we grew up together like brothers. I think this is partly due to fact that our fathers (brothers Greg and Paul) have always been such close, creative and fun loving guys. Growing up we did everything together and never had a problem deciding on what was fun or cool - and once we did, we'd do it. From flooding a neighbor's sunken garden, because it made a way better He-Man pirate cove than garden, to later building a plexiglass film rig in our basement to drop black light ink on for a music video. Who would have thought that as kids we’d be making stop motion movies and now we're both doing it professionally, over 30 years later! Gavin is always down for a creative project, no matter how daunting or impossible it seems. This is just one reason I love this guy!

Although I’ve known Simone since her birth and definitely as long as I remember, I struggle to think of a single dull moment spent with her. She has a natural ability to connect with people and she never allows fear to direct her decisions. Her drive to do good and make a difference in this world has propelled her to do amazing and interesting things. I’ve learned so much from this person and feel immensely grateful to have her not only as family but also as a lifelong friend.
Best Man
Justin and I met in day care before kindergarten and then somehow, suddenly, we graduated high school together. Our folks only lived a few blocks away from each other so Justin’s house and family quickly became my home away from home. I’ve had so many adventures with Justin; from camping (which we've done a ton of), to surfing, to digging ditches in Mexico, to driving up the coast of California to Washington, and even building a two story deck for his family in Indiana. Always armed with a book and great conversation, Justin is the best travel companion - scratch that, best companion I, or anyone else could ask for. I look forward to waxing philosophical and burning the midnight oil with Justin well into our golden years. Or just sitting by a fire would be fine too.

I first started spending time with Willow when Oliver and I started to become a serious item. I was immediately struck her cool and calm demeanor. Although, she is not the loudest member of the family she certainly has a lot to say. She continually impresses me. She is a fearless traveler, a brilliant artisan, and has an unwavering sense of commitment as well as a tireless work ethic. I’m so excited to be able to officially call Willow my sister. Oh, and she knows karate!!!

I first met Britt at age 2 and there isn’t much we haven’t been through together since. She’s been there every step of the way, willing to listen, laugh and cry with me. I’ve long admired Brittany’s passion, strength, and ability to be direct. (A good combo to have on your side) But, don’t let her fool you; she’s quite the softy inside. She is a fierce and devoted caretaker to her daughters (Mia and Aurelia), dog babies and foster animals. I wouldn’t be who I am today if it wasn’t for her friendship. I continue to learn from her every day.
