About three years ago, We met me at a friend's baby shower. After inquiring about me from our friends, he approached me, asking me out for coffee. Come to find out, he doesn't even drink coffee! He took me to Chipotle instead. I couldn't complain! After only two weeks of getting to know him, I had to leave the country for a couple of weeks for a family vacation. I wasn't sure that he would still be interested when I came back. But to my surprise, the distance did not stop him. While I was away, I would still receive good morning and goodnight messages from him. I came home to roses and a romantic dinner. What took me away was his heart for God and his pursuit in glorifying Him. I knew that God was up to something special in both of our lives.

Andre proposed to me on April 14, 2018. We love to jam out together. I normally play piano and he sings. On this particular day, he decided to record us. After our jam session, he requested to sing "Thinking out loud" by Ed Sheeran, which was the first song he sang to me when we met. Towards the end of the song, he knelt down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. I was shocked and loss for words!
