Our story began on June 15, 2023, the day Kingdomfull Tabernacle International Ministries acquired its new property in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. It was a big moment for the church, but little did we know, it would be the start of something even bigger for us. I met Olive that day when she came to serve at the revival event on the new land. The moment I saw her, I thought to myself, Wow, she’s absolutely beautiful. There was something about her presence. It was kind, calm, and quietly confident. It caught my attention right away. I didn’t try to impress her or make any bold moves; we exchanged a quick hello and became acquaintances, but she stayed on my mind long after that first meeting. Something about Olive stirred my heart in a way I hadn’t felt before. I didn’t want to rush things or let my feelings get ahead of me, so I did what I knew was right and I took it to God. For three months, I prayed and sought His guidance, asking Him to reveal Olive’s heart and whether there was something deeper between us. During that time, Olive had no idea I was praying about her, but I knew I needed that clarity before taking the next step. After months of prayer, I decided to reach out to her. I didn’t even have her phone number, so I messaged her on Instagram. She picked up my call, and I finally shared what was on my heart. I told her I wanted to get to know her beyond just being friends, and to my surprise, she was open to it. From that moment on, we started talking almost every day. Getting to know Olive was a blessing in itself. Every conversation made me admire her even more. Her heart, her kindness, and her love for God is admirable. We both spent time praying separately, seeking confirmation about whether this relationship was part of God’s plan. And then it came. We both felt a peace that couldn’t be ignored. On December 22, 2023, we officially became a couple. Those ten months of courtship were some of the most meaningful months of my life. We built our relationship on faith, trust, and so much love. We laughed, we prayed, and we dreamed together, knowing that God was leading us every step of the way. Then, on November 12, 2024, I asked Olive the question that had been on my heart for months: Will you marry me? She said yes, and in that moment, all the waiting and prayer felt so worth it. Our story is a reminder of what happens when you trust God’s timing. From the first moment I saw her to the day she said yes, Olive has been the answer to prayers I didn’t even know I was praying. Now, as we prepare to say “I do,” we’re so excited to share this next chapter of our story with all of you.
